Nine North Watchtower communities will receive electricity this year

The Light for All Program Coordinator of Eletrobras Amazonas Distribution, André Rocha, He said on Monday, 27 July, during the launch of yet another phase of the program in the North Watchtower municipality, which will be invested over R $ 956.366,09 to expand the electricity network in the city. New investments, according to him, It takes energy to over nine communities of the rural municipality.

"In North Watchtower Municipality, in six months of work, It will invest a volume of resources almost three times higher than those applied during the ten years Program ", said Rocha, who has been with the Company staff on a visit to the upper Amazon. From 2004 a 2014, They were invested in North Watchtower resources of R $ 374.369,31 to bring electricity to 70 county households. With the new features, more 200 homes will be met.

According to the assistant to the president of Eletrobras Amazonas Distribution, Valdelino Cavalcante, at least nine communities will benefit from the new investments. These are PA Buoy, Saint Gabriel, San Rafael, Ladário, Saint Peter, Handhelds, Pirapitinga, Quark and Cruzeirinho.

"We are working hard to extend the electricity network of the Light for All to communities that have not yet been included in the program.
