Hall begins the Women's Qualification Project Manauara

The goal is to enter the participation of women in situations of violence.

The Manaus Prefecture, through the Municipal Secretariat for Women, Social Assistance and Human Rights (Semmasdh), begins on Wednesday, 4, 14h, Women's Qualification Project Manauara, which aims to develop actions that enable the participatory inclusion of women in situations of violence and social vulnerability in the valuation policies of economic management and family income.

The goal is to train and qualify 750 women by January 2016, through workshops, courses and fairs, forwarding them to the labor market. They will be offered craft courses, culinary, cutting and sewing, Computing, elderly caretaker and reception.

The courses will be taught by professors of the National Vocational Qualification Center (Defense Industry), three hours per day (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), from 9am to 12pm and from 14h to 17h. Women who are interested in attending the courses should seek the Social Assistance Reference Centers (tomorrow) closer to home.

Classes are held in the auditorium of the Women's Rights Reference Center (CRDM), in the street 04, No 224, in the square of the Duque de Caxias Set, Flores neighborhood. The center, which opens next Friday, 06, 11am, It is a welcoming space and specialized care to women in situations of domestic violence and family.
