MDIC launches project in the Amazon to promote exports

A steering committee was formed to work out the actions to help the entrepreneur Amazon.

The Federation of Industries of the State of Amazonas (Fieam), through the Amazon International Business Centre (CIN-AM), He received yesterday, 20, representatives of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) to discuss or National Plan of Culture Exportadora (PNCE), which aims to implement actions in all Brazilian states to promote the export culture of companies.

The executive manager of RCN-AM, Marcelo Lima explained that at the meeting were discussed the actions that should be deployed in the state to enable the achievement of the goals established by the Federal Government through the National Program.

He said the meeting was set up a Steering Committee of the Amazon will be responsible for developing all actions to 2016 matching the PNCE as training programs through prospective missions, trade missions, seminars and other training companies.

"The goal of the National Exporter Culture Plan is to promote the export business and the meeting had served to trace the paths for the Amazonian entrepreneurs achieve internationalization thus steadying the export culture in our state", stated.

Committee
Entities and bodies that are part of the Steering Committee of the State are PNCE: Superintendency of the Manaus Free Zone (Suframa); Secretary of State for Science and Technology Planning (Seplanct); State government; Fieam; Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprise (Sebrae); Federation of Agriculture and Livestock Amazon (Faea); Amazon Trade Federation (Fecomércio); Bank of Brazil, Caixa Econômica Federal; Banco da Amazônia; Posts and Organization of Cooperatives of the State of Amazonas (OCB-AM).

In addition to the technical CIN-AM and Fieam, They attended the meeting yesterday with representatives of the MDIC, managers of all organs that make up the committee. Marcelo Lima pointed out that the role of the committee of the Amazon is to develop the local actions with the focus on the reality of the Amazon business community.

"I'm sure that through these actions – that they have begun to be developed – the business of our state will be much better able to enter the international market. The export culture is the focus of the Plan and will remain the focus of our work as it has been in recent years here in the Amazon ", he emphasized Lima.

What is PNCE
The Program was launched in 2012, MDIC and plans the offering of shares related to the export culture in the Brazilian states through the mobilization and training of public managers, entrepreneurs of small and medium businesses and trade professionals.

To meet local demands, Partner Institutions and the ministry work in the planning and coordination of activities with state governments for the transfer of knowledge in foreign trade.

Besides that, the enhancement of existing capacity-building initiatives and made available by partners corroborates the specific objectives of PNCE, which are: promotion of state policies aligned to the strategies of exporting culture, increasing internationalization and export base productive chains of Brazilian.
