Chibatão Group invests in new heavy cargo handling fleet in the Amazon

Company focuses on increasing its operating capacity also in Southern Brazil.

The Chibatão Group, by Tomiasi Heavy Logistics, has just invested in the acquisition of new fleets for heavy cargo handling. Thereby, the group company increases 40% its logistics capacity at national level, already targeting future projects within its operating capacity in the state and South and Southeast of the country.

With investment, the group reaches over 50% of R $ 262 million announced for the improvement of Amazon logistics infrastructure for the biennium 2015/2016.

The transaction took place between the months of December 2015 and January 2016. With her, to not segment Tomiasi heavy logistics, expanded its number of logistics equipment, as cranes, trailers and tractors, from 88 for 121 equipment designed industrial removal, which means an increase of 40% on their ability.

Among the items purchased by the company are crane on tires, mats with a capacity of two to 500 tons, modular carts, self propelled axis line with carrying capacity of 1,2 thousand tons, gantry cranes, tracings tractors and accessories for heavy cargo handling.

In addition to the transport equipment, the Tomiasi still got over two thousand implements like lifting materials and Lashing. "Like this, Chibatão the Group further expands its logistics capacity to meet not only the Industrial Pole of Manaus and the market, but also at national level ", explains the General Executive Director of Chibatão Group, Jhony Fidelis.
