Customs Port of Manaus held its first auction 2016

With merchandise like backpacks, household items, tires, guitars and other products, local Customs expects to collect a minimum amount of R $ 2,5 millions, if all lots are auctioned.

The goods are bidding 38 lots, It is the highest valued at R $ 716 one thousand, parts comprising, parts and motorcycle accessories (lot 29), and the lowest evaluated at R $ 448,00, composed of power cables (lot 2). The remaining batches are made of cardboard boxes, Welding equipment, electrical switches, women's scarves, molding machines for plastic injection, refrigerators, fabrics and other goods.

The Customs Port of Manaus is providing the 39 lots with goods for examination of stakeholders in the period 14 a 22 March, in time from 08h to 14h and 11:30 to 16:30 (Manaus time), except that YAMAHA has hours on Fridays. In the year of 2015 Customs Port of Manaus held three auctions that raised R $ 3,78 millions. The amount collected represented over half of the total R $ 6,78 millions, obtained by exhibitions held in the 2nd Fiscal Region, composed of the states of Acre, Amapá, Amazon, For, Roraima and Rondônia.

All the goods making up the lots to be auctioned are from seizures made by Customs at the Port of Manaus during inspection actions, surveillance and repression occurring in Amazonas state or institute called abandonment, when goods beyond the period prescribed by law for the beginning of the customs clearance remaining stored in bonded areas.

The funds earned from allocations by auction are collected with automatic transfer to the National Treasury account and subsequent distribution 40% social security and 60% to or FUNDAF – Development Fund and Improvement Surveillance Activity, according to paragraph 5 of Article 29 Decree-Law 1.455/76.
