After training over 175 students from public schools in Manacapuru (a 68 kilometers from Manaus), the Government of Amazonas will take the Program for Software Developers Training for the municipality of Iranduba (a 27 kilometers from Manaus) in the first half of 2016. Through this initiative, young people learn to develop applications and programs for mobile phones, tablets and computers.

With 160 places offered in the city, courses should be conducted in Full Time Education Center (Ceti) Izabel Silva and Exile, located on highway Carlos Braga. According to the State Department of Education (Seduc), the specific selection notice to Iranduba, with all information required for those who wish to claim the vacancies should be released in the coming weeks.

Initially benefiting students of Manacapuru and Itacoatiara (a 176 kilometers from Manaus), the program is expected to reach 14 municipalities in the coming years. According to the Governor Jose Melo, the initiative will come into operation in five cities this year, between them and Coari Tefé. The government's goal is to create software development firms inside, generating new business.

"You give these students the content of modernity, what the computer can give, and they can get this new job market. We did this in Itacoatiara and now we go in five cities. Coari, Tefé and municipalities poles so that our children also have the opportunity ", said Melo.

Partnership – Executed by Seduc, the Program for Software Developers Training is conducted in partnership with the Center for Analysis Foundation, Research and Technological Innovation (Fucapi) and the leading company in information technology and communications area (Envision).
