Governor inaugurates Ceti Mayor Regis Washington Luís da Silva, in ManacapuruIn this ocasion, graduation will be held 157 Software Development students.
With large modern structure, the State Government will inaugurate the 9 hours of Monday (14), the Full-Time Education Center (Ceti) Mayor Régis Washington Luís da Silva, in the city of Manacapuru (distant 84 kilometers from Manaus). In this ocasion, the governor of Amazonas, Jose Melo, also preside over the graduation ceremony 175 students who have completed the first phase of the Program for Software Developers Training in the Amazon interior.
With investments of R $ 12,5 millions, the Ceti Washington Régis is the first to be built in the city and adds to other 55 full-time teaching units in Manaus and the interior of Amazonas. The new Ceti is located at Estrada Manoel Urbano, Set in MCMV, in Manacapuru.
With capacity for a thousand students daily, o Ceti Washington Régis, that will meet the students enrolled in elementary school (1Th to 5 th year), (6Th to 9 th) and high school in the form of full-time, It is equipped with 24 rooms air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs and science, library, semi-Olympic pool, football field, multisport court and refectory.
According to the Secretary of State for Education, Rossieli Soares da Silva, the Ceti of Manacapuru is another of the major investments of the State Government for education. "The Ceti in Manacapuru is one of the senior State Government investment to strengthen the quality of education and increase access of young people to full-time education", He informed the Secretary.
The Program for Software Developers Training in the Amazon interior is run by Seduc, in partnership with the Center for Analysis Foundation, Research and Technological Innovation (Fucapi) and the leading company in information technology and communications area (Envision).
Launched in 2014, the Program for Software Developers Training in the Amazon interior is intended for students of the 9th grade of elementary school, medium and Youth and Adult Education (COME), being a prerequisite for the holding of the interested student has basic computer skills and reside in the project application municipalities: Manacapuru and Itacoatiara (whether in rural or urban area).
With the program, in addition to providing students with the acquisition of new knowledge, the State Government seeks to encourage the formation of new professionals to work in the technology segment. Through the program, young people receive an incentive charge that enables the acquisition of knowledge in the software development area and, consequently, preparation to work in new areas of professional activity.
