Ipem-AM performs surveillance in petrol stations and stations Floating

The action has the support of the Consumer Protection Commission of the City of Manaus.

The Government of Amazonas, through the Office of Weights and Measures Amazon (Ipem-AM) intensifies, this Wednesday (23), monitoring the city's gas stations, and also oversees the floating stations – known as pontoons located on the edge of town.

This action is part of the institute initiated surveillance plan in January, in order to check that the gas stations are meeting compliance Edict 23/1985 the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro), establishing the monitoring of the use of metering pumps liquid fuel and equipment safety conditions.

The action also has the support of the Consumer Protection Committee of the Manaus City Hall (COMDEC / CMM), which has the front Councilman Álvaro Campelo (PP), and will verify compliance with the Consumer Defense Code - CDC.
