The Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (You believe) Centro-Sul, on the street Leonardo Malcher, no Center, He won on Wednesday, 27, one toy library. The space, that is the result of a partnership between Manaus Prefecture with Sabin Laboratory was opened by Mayor Arthur Virgilio Neto and aims to help children and adolescents victimized by violence.

The mayor pointed out that Manaus has a very high number of children and adolescents with the rights violated. According to him, the more people who are committed to helping in the fight and combat these types of crimes, best.

“This space is open to all residents of south-central and we will make other briefly in other Creas. With this we hope to give attention to who else deserves. And this here is a reality thanks to the sensitivity of the Sabin Laboratory, who has worked with us and now the sport is helping us with this one more support for children”, said Arthur Neto.

The toy library has games, toys, books and educational materials to help psychologists and social workers in approach work and interaction. Among them are puzzles, puppets, rag dolls, crayons and modeling clay. Other toys like dolls sexed, police officer, therapeutic family and family social inclusion are also working tools for the monitoring of child victims of violence.

According to information from the Municipal Secretariat for Women, Social Assistance and Human Rights (Semmasdh) currently, near 300 people are served per month in Creas South Central. "This toy library will be used by our psychologists and social workers to talk to our children and so try to understand what happened to them and determine, like this, what is the best type of care to be adopted ", said Under Secretary Mônica Santaella.

All or materials, toy library of equipment and toys were provided by Sabin. According to the laboratory's executive manager, Fábio Deboni, in total they were invested approximately R $ 15 one thousand. He explained that the maintenance of the space also will be the responsibility of private enterprise.

“We already have a partnership with the city and have delivered outdoor gyms. Now, we are over this project we plan to expand to all Creas. We feel happy to we give this back to a city that welcomed us very well. Besides Manaus, we are in most other 58 Brazilian cities in eight different states”, disse Deboni.
