In Manaus, March for Jesus is day 25 of June

Manaus – With the theme "United in God's hands', the 23th edition of the March for Jesus in Manaus is scheduled for the next day 25. The departure will take place from 15h, of Saudade Square, in Manaus Center. The information is the president of the Association of Evangelical Ministers of the State of Amazonas (Omeam), Sadi Caldas. According to him, the expectation is that the event meets between 600 a 800 thousand people.

The president of Omeam, the theme that reflects the union of all Christians in a time of need, since the world is a lack of values ​​and human love.

“We together pray for the city, nation and country so that there is a peaceful environment, to avoid a high level of violence, or children without parents, or young people using drugs. We realize that the aggressiveness is increasing and evil is proliferating, then the union is of utmost importance in order to avoid these types of situations and disorder. Pray for the peace of the Lord”, he explained.

Initially, the Omeam had disclosed that the event would be on 18 of June, but the date had change due to the event “fruit faithful” promoted by the International Ministry of Restoration (ME). The change of date was made by Order by social networks.


Caldas said the musical acts are yet to be confirmed, but they must be disclosed next week.

The path will be the same as last edition, in 2015, with changes in schedules. The concentration will start from 12h in front of da Saudade Square, in the capital center. The output will be at 15h, when the faithful should take the Rua Ferreira Pena toward Avenue Ayrão, passing the Avenida Constantino Nery, ending at Avenida Pedro Teixeira, the Sambadrome, where the shows will be held.

Accompany the march, the Municipal Institute of Engineering and Traffic Surveillance (Manaustrans), Military police, Municipal Guard and Fire Department.
