On Tuesday (22), representatives of the Embassy of Thailand in Brazil were in Manaus and met the Regionalization Program of School Feeding (Tap) developed by the State Government for the benefit of students teaching the public schools.
Through the Program, the Government of Amazonas ensure quality food to more than 450 thousand students daily and strengthens local farmer to purchase products from small farmers and regional cooperatives.
In Manaus, representative delegation of Thailand met the Regionalization Program of School Feeding (Tap) visiting the state school Full Time Djalma Batista. Located at Avenida General Rodrigo Otavio, the school was expanded this year becoming the first public unit of basic education in the state to offer bilingual education in Japanese Language.
In the visit to the school, the delegation was welcomed by the Executive Secretary of Education, Raimundo Otaide Shrike Son and also by the Secretary of Education Teaching Assistant, José Augusto de Melo Neto.
