Government of Amazonas rule excluding Manaus Olympic Games

"There's no possibility of not keeping the Olympics in Manaus. We are with all the appropriate schedule to 17 July, which is the day agreed with the Olympic Committee to surrender all services running ", said the Secretary of State for Culture, Robério Braga, responsible for the progress of Olympic projects.

According to Robério Braga, Governor Jose Melo has personally followed the progress of all the negotiations and preparations for the international competition and deals with the issue as a priority. "We are already working for a 15 days and we have done several meetings, including the Olympic Committee of Rio de Janeiro. All are closely watching our schedules ".
