Ministry will promote in Manaus course on energy efficiency in public buildings

The Ministry of Environment is promoting training courses on energy efficiency in buildings across the country, with approach to consumption reduction methods, and consequent cost savings. The courses will be conducted in at least six Brazilian cities, including Manaus.

The first course will be held on 28, 29 e 30 of June, in Fortaleza. Already in Manaus, It is scheduled for 19 e 20 of October. Will also receive courses the cities of Brasilia, Fortress, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Salvador. Entries can be made here.

In the courses will demonstrate lighting systems, air conditioning, among others, with analysis of the environmental impact of the process of making an efficient public building energy, addressing the reduction of consumption and emission of greenhouse gases and the effects in the bidding process of projects and works. The course will also address the involved legislation process.

The program is divided into: workshops and short courses, four-hour, and intended for general public; and courses 20 -hour, of which 16 hours are face-four, distance. The latter are geared to technical, engineers and architects and aim to deepen concepts and demonstrate the label applied to buildings.
