Transparency International offers help to Live in investigations of Lava Jato

Federal Judge Sergio Moro, responsible for investigations of Operation Lava jet in the first instance Justice, She received today (27), in Curitiba, representatives of Transparency International, non-governmental organization that works to fight corruption.

at the meeting, Moro and its president, Jose Carlos Ugaz, discussed cooperation measures in the investigation of crimes committed by companies and persons receiving bribes abroad, derived from the deviations scheme at Petrobras.

In an interview after the meeting, Ugaz announced that will be created in Brazil a knowledge center anticorruption, a working group to create tools to help combat corruption in the country and in Latin America. The representative of Transparency International also expected to meet today with members of prosecutors of the task force of the Federal Prosecutor (MPF) Parana.

According to the Attorney General's Office data (PGR), were made 108 requests for international cooperation and R $ 659 million were repatriated in investigations carried out by the Federal Court in Curitiba within the Lava Jato.
