Airports still report queue at the baggage inspection area

The disorder is the result of measures adopted, since yesterday (18), by the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) in all the country's airports, in order to increase passenger safety.

According to Anac, on the first day of adoption of the new inspection procedures for domestic flights, the average waiting time ranged from 10 e 45 minutes, with specific peaks hours. "In some, no additional time registration queue. In most significant time waiting times were not registered ", also informed the Agency.

To avoid inconvenience, the agency recommends that travelers arrive at the airport two hours in advance. It also directs that, while waiting in line, passengers can remove belts and other metal objects, before passing through the metal detector.

Besides that, according to Anac, it is important that the laptop (notebook) It is placed in a separate tray to pass the hand luggage by x-ray. The standard also provides that a passenger may be subjected to random physical searches and have your hand luggage inspected.
