PPS uses the Supreme spreads decision that blocked WhatsApp

PPS appealed, just, the Supreme Court (STF) to overturn the decision of the Court of Rio de Janeiro which led to the suspension of the application service messaging WhatsApp. The request was forwarded to the President of the Court, Minister Ricardo Lewandowski, due to the withdrawal from July in court. The decision is expected today (19).

The injunction was filed in the case questioning another decision on the application lock, taken last year by a Lizard judge, Sergipe. For or party, court decisions that bar WhatsApp are disproportionate, to affect the right of consumers to communicate freely.

The blockade was determined today WhatsApp (19) by Judge Daniella Barbosa de Souza Assumpção, 2nd Criminal Court of Duque de Caxias. This is the third time that WhatsApp is suspended in the country.
