Meeting evaluates health strategies for the Olympics

In order to detail the actions scheduled for Health in the Amazon Arena perimeter, during the Olympic games in Manaus, to Secretary of State for Culture (SEC) held a meeting, on Wednesday morning (6), with the professionals involved in the operation of prompt medical care services in the medical tent and five health posts that will work in the days of the football tournament matches.

Issues such as implementation of temporary services in the medical tent and emergency care stations and amount of ambulances, beds, doctors, nurses and nursing and regulation were on the agenda.

The meeting hit the last details of the operation involving health-related services, bringing optimism to the team. "After all that has been presented here, I'm cool. Now it's just a matter of adjustments ", said Carlos Henrique Júnior, general manager of the Amazon Arena installation for Rio 2016.

The meeting, the CEO of the Foundation for Health Surveillance (FVS) do Amazonas, Cláudio Bernardino Albuquerque, and representatives of the State Department of Health (Sesame), Isaac Ezaguy; the Municipal Health (Sems), Moisa Carneiro; Youth of the State Department, Sports and leisure (Sejel), Jailson Veiga and Thiago During; to Save, Dilson Maciel, and Rio 2016, Eduardo Stewien, Carlos Henrique Júnior and Leonardo Correa.
