Congressman Ronaldo Fonseca (PROS-DF) he said today (11) that Eduardo Cunha feature of vote (PMDB-RJ) the Committee on Constitution and Justice (CCJ) the House is likely to stay for August, after the parliamentary recess. Fonseca is the rapporteur of an appeal by Cunha in committee asking the vote annulment of the Board of Ethics that demanded the withdrawal of his mandate.

The meeting of the CCJ to discuss and vote on the opinion of Fonseca is scheduled for tomorrow (12) in the afternoon, but, according to Fonseca, may end without the opinion is voted because of the number of attached Members, which are already over 30. Thereby, the vote could end on Wednesday, but, with the election for the presidency of the House, the meeting of the CCJ is likely to derail. “Unfortunately, if you do not vote tomorrow [12] it's Wednesday [13], only after the recess, because, after Thursday, You will not have any more”, said rapporteur.

According to the deputy, the trend is that, after the election, Parliament be emptied, resuming activities only after the end of the recess, at the beginning of August, further extending the deadline for a definitive outcome of the case wedge.

Because of this, Wedge opponents came to announce the intention to collect signatures for meeting the CCJ will soon be started in the morning. Fonseca said, however, has not received any request to this effect. “This is part of the political game, It has a side that wants to do in the morning, another wants afternoon. I was not even looking for anyone with this application, but I sign.”

Last Wednesday (7), Fonseca presented its opinion on the Cunha feature, in which one of upheld 16 points listed by the PMDB, questioning the conduct of, and voted for the resumption of the voting process on the board. According to the rapporteur, the college could not have made the roll call vote with individual manifestation of each parliamentary.

The processing of the wedge feature in CCJ has been marked by numerous dilatory maneuvers. Soon after resigning the presidency of the Chamber, Cunha filed an amendment to the resource in the CCJ, which led the president of the college, Osmar Serraglio (PMDB-PR), to transfer to tomorrow the meeting originally scheduled for Monday. Not appeal, Cunha called for the review of the case against him in the Council of Ethics, arguing that, with his resignation, ceased council motivation to ask cassation.

The request for an amendment was denied by Fonseca, who said he had come to know the wedge addition not to present any rule of the Internal Regulations, the Constitution or the Board of Ethics that has been violated. "Even if I knew [accept], I could not grant the addition of my vote, because it would be a matter of merit, so that I would be invading the jurisdiction of the Board of Ethics, and does not contain the CCJ analyze substantive issues, but regimental and procedures ", he explained.
