According to R $ 1,6 million will benefit 275 security sector workers

The Regional Labor Court of the 11th Region (AM/RR), by 1st pole of Manaus Work, homologated, on the morning of Friday (19), an agreement in the amount of R $ 1.6 million for the payment of severance pay to 275 workers without cause. The process is part of a public civil action between Sindvam – Union of Employees in security companies and Manaus Surveillance and Company Aim – Amazon Surveillance and Security Ltda.

The workers included in the agreement are part of service providers vigilante group in the public schools of the State Government and were replaced by concierge staff, motivating the loss of almost 700 work stations. Vigilantes were released earlier this month, in 8 August 2016, and filed Collective Action in the Labor Court on Monday (15/08).

Termination benefits of the agreement refer to supplement the working notice (09 days), 13º proportional salary, due and proportional vacation + 1/3, respecting the peculiarities for each worker and arising from their employment contract time, net of legal fees, proven to be, and agreements, alimony and advances.

In addition to the payment of severance pay to workers, the agreement provides for the release of FGTS guides (8% + 40%), unemployment and low in the contract in the respective Work Portfolios. It is expected fine 50% on the net value of the agreement, in case of default by the respondent. The company must pay workers the amount of R $ 1,632,781.87, in ten equal installments of R $ 163,278.19.

The hearing was chaired by the substitute judge of the work of Souza Carolina Lacerda Aires France and was attended by the union of Sindvam patrons, who filed the action, lawyers claimed the company, plus commission employees representing the employees dismissed.

The agreement was made in just four days after the action of entering the TRT11, ending the process is still in its early stages, during the first proposal for conciliation, which demonstrates the promptness of the Labor Court and the commitment of the Regional with the judicial assistance.
