The University of the State of Amazonas (UEA) It opened on Friday (26) the Skills Laboratory, Simulation and Care Health Technologies (LaHSim), where robots are used in clinical simulation classes. The delivery of labs to the academic community is part of the Superior UEA Management and State Government policy to promote the modernization of teaching and learning within the institution. The laboratory is installed in the School of Health Sciences (THAT).

The Skills Laboratory, Simulation and Care Health Technologies (LahSim) gathers, in one place, practical classes, Clinical Reasoning, simulations and clinical care, beyond "Debriefing", where students will evaluate, guided by teachers, the procedures performed and indicate faults of your calls. All training will be conducted by the robot METIman.

O reitor da UEA, Cleinaldo Costa, He said the institution Superior Management seeks to invest not only in technical training, but also human of future health professionals. "It's like training an aircraft pilot towards a simulator that simulates risks, difficult situations and which to base decision, technical and, at the same time, enable students psychomotor point of view that, to get a real service, the trader can make more qualified way possible ", said Costa.

The space has in its structure 4 robots complete, addition to the human body: 4 robots adults, 1 Pregnant, 3 babies, 3 thorax adults, 1 child's chest, 5 female breasts, for cancer screenings. O Local behaves six rooms, which can be performed clinical simulation training as: birthing simulation, care for cardiac arrest (adults and children - with a baby), care of newborns, besides the objective evaluation (a used structure, where an actor plays the role of the patient).

For the technical coordinator of the Skills Laboratory at UEA, Sibila Osis, the main benefit of the laboratory is the possibility of creating a controlled environment for more serious situations that future students will have contact in professional life. "With the laboratory, we can put the professional in a stressful situation, he will experience in professional life, but in a controlled environment, where I can assess how it will respond and how the process of care in high-stress situation ", said Sibyl.

Besides all the highly complex structure, The laboratory also has a more complete robot, called Anderson, where you can make simulation clinics in general. This robot breathes, bleeds, It has heart rate, blood pressure, squints, eye pupil dilates and retracts, as the need for simulation and, Besides that, It causes seizures and various heart rhythms and pathological clinical signs.

According to the academic Nursing, Francisco Vitorino, with practical classes on the dummies can conduct training in the same clinical situation as often as necessary. "In addition to quality training, the biggest beneficiary is the patient, since the population will have more trained professionals at the service ", completed.

After delivery Laboratory, which took place at the School of Health Sciences (THAT), Magna Second Semester Lecture was conducted 2016, rendered by the physician and scientist Wanderley de Souza, current president of the Financier of Studies and Projects (finep).
