The defense of former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva appealed again to the Supreme Court (STF). The lawyers want a declaration that the federal judge Sergio Moro invaded jurisdiction of the Court to hear cases involving Lula and investigated privileged forum.
In the new petition, the defense claimed that Moro acted illegally in the processes by stating that the audios in which the former president talk with officials with privileged forum had "legal and criminal relevance", in addition to authorize the end of the confidentiality of records and sharing in other investigations and prosecutions.
Interceptions Federal Police have been authorized by the judge.
In June, Minister Teori Zavascki sent the judge Sergio Moro investigations into former president in Operation Lava Jato and annulled recording, made during operation, a telephone conversation between Lula and removed President Rousseff.
