TSE launches Sparrow application to fight electoral corruption

The Sparrow can be used by voters and candidates to denounce irregularities during the municipal campaign.

The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) launched on Thursday (18) the application Sparrow, that allows you to send complaints with illegal practices evidence in a campaign, as vote buying, to the Electoral.

The Sparrow can be used by voters, and also candidates, to denounce irregularities during the municipal campaign this year. The application can now be downloaded on mobile phones. The complaint will generate a protocol number and the voter can follow the processing of the whole process.

The system allows citizens to capture a photo, video or audio – Recording a conversation, for example. After, he registers the complaint and meets the following information in the system: Who would you like to report; what is the irregularity; Additional Information (description of fact). Then responds in that county and district the irregularity occurred and, then, receives the protocol number.
