Bank go on strike from this Tuesday (6) all over the country

In some cities and states will bank meetings on Friday (2) to decide whether to adhere, or not, the national strike.

Bank of several states refused at a meeting on tonight (1º) the proposal presented by the National Federation of Banks (Fenaban) and they decided to go on national strike from the day 6 of September. The information was published on the websites of the National Confederation of Financial Branch Workers (CONTRAF) and the National Conderação of Workers in Credit Companies (Contec).

According to CONTRAF, bank of some cities and states will make meetings on Friday (2) to decide whether to adhere, or not, the national strike.

The proposal was presented on Fenaban 29 and offers banking adjustment 6,5% in salary and meal aid, feeding, creche, and payment of R $ 3 one thousand, plus profit sharing and results (PLR). According to CONTRAF, the proposal of the employer does not cover the inflation of the period, designed in 9,57% to August this year, and represents loss 2,8% for a category.

The CONTRAF asks, among other claims, Inflation replacement period plus 5% real increase, PLR three salaries over R $ 8.317,90, combating abusive goals, moral and sexual harassment, end outsourcing.

Among the cities and states that have had meetings in which the bank confirmed the strike are Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Goiás, Holy Spirit, Tocantis, Maranhão, Holy Spirit, Pernambuco, For, Sergipe, Cuiaba, Curitiba, Brasilia, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, and cities in the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, as the two capitals, Campinas (SP), Bauru (RJ), Angra dos Reis (RJ) and Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ).

The Fenaban was sought but not found to talk about the strike of bank. On its website, the organization said the proposal sent to the bank "shows the commitment of banks for a quick negotiation and balanced, able to ensure the satisfaction and industry employees' well-being at a time of difficulty and uncertainty in the Brazilian economy. "
