For student, who discovered the sport just a year ago, the result was very positive. "I never thought I would participate in a competition of these some day and that could an outcome as positive. I discovered the sport just a year ago, through my school and since then began to dedicate myself, train three times a week and with this result, I see that my effort was recognized. I'm very happy and hope one day, with all my dedication, to win the first place in the ranking ", said Mikaela, that so far, only he had participated in competitions between schools in the city of Manaus.

"I did not know the sport, but I can say that it has changed my life, helped me to grow. Participating in the competition, I could see how there are disabled athletes, who managed to overcome their limitations, although they are considered different by society. I am proud to be one more paratleta who discovered that the sport can still take me too far ", told students.
According to the coach and student of physical education teacher at school Cacilda Braule, Fernando Medeiros, Mikaela is an example of overcoming and the result was more than satisfactory.
"The Mikaela is a very hardworking student and as paratleta is no different. I am very pleased as a teacher and coach to have accompanied the development of Mikaela and this result so positive that she could have in her first competition.
