Manaus will be a national event of the headquarters of the shipping sector in Brazil

The Mobilization for Debureaucratization Navigation in Brazil will take place on Friday (16), In Manaus. The event will bring capital Amazonian leaders of the water transport sector, to discuss issues and barriers that impact the development of navigation in the Amazon and across the country.

The mobilization is organized by the National Federation of Aquaviária Shipping Companies (Fenavega) with support of the Association of Inland Navigation Companies in Amazonas State (Sindarma).

The event is part of national movement to mobilize the bureaucracy of the Brazilian navigation. It will be discussed a series of measures to solve bureaucratic obstacles, that negatively impact the sector.

Second Fenavega, the focus of the campaign is to reduce to acceptable levels the bureaucratic requirements that currently apply in various public sector agencies, thus enabling the waterway transport modal offers users and customers more agility, efficiency and cost-effective. The critical situation of the Madeira River between the states of Amazonas and Rondônia will also be discussed. Navigation in Madeira Waterway, which is the main logistics corridor in the region, It has been affected by severe drought and the impacts on the ebb after the construction of hydroelectric Santo Antônio and Jirau.

During or event, President of Fenavega, Raimundo Netherlands, will make the symbolic launch of the next navigation mobilization campaign, that will focus “waterways have”.

Will be present entrepreneurs shipping industry and representatives of the following institutions authorities: National Agency of Waterway Transportation (Antaq), Brazil's navy, Parliamentary Front in Defense of Ports, Waterways and Navigation Brazil's Chamber of Deputies.

The joint initiative of Fenavega and Sindarma still has the support of other unions that make up the federation. still participate the National Confederation of Transport (CNT), Inter-American Transport Chamber (CIT), National Service of Transport and National Transport Training Service (Sest / Senat).

The event is free and will take place from 9 am, in Rio Negro Hall of Tropical Hotel, located on Avenida Coronel Teixeira, n° 1.320, Ponta Negra neighborhood, West Zone of Manaus.
