Since May 2016, MEC has already transferred over R $ 3,1 million to federal institutions across the country. Most of the values, R$ 271 millions, It was transferred to federal universities, including transfers to university hospitals. The Federal Network of Vocational Education, Science and Technology received R $ 95,45 millions.
Last week, MEC granted, still, R$ 31,89 million for higher education. Most resources, R$ 16,57 millions, It will be applied in the National Student Assistance Program for State Universities (Pnaest). The amounts will be allocated to the payment of agreements signed in 2014, but whose financial resources were released only this year.
The others R $ 15,32 released will be for the Program to Support University Extension (Proext), which will be used to pay agreements signed in 2015 to support 29 extension programs or projects designed by the Community institutions, state or municipal.
