Four arrested in Solimões with German and Israeli rifles and more than R $ 400 one thousand

Four men were arrested in the Solimões River, near the 'Island shoal', municipality of Iranduba (a 27 kilometers from Manaus), with heavy weapons, more than R $ 462 thousand in cash and a boat. The arrest took place on Wednesday (21). The quartet was presented this morning, the General Police, in the city's Central West Zone.

According to the director of Denarc, Delegate Paul Mavignier, Three Months Ago, Denarc the teams had been investigating the gang that was responsible for carrying out the transport of illicit substances in the city of Tabatinga to Manaus and other states. Yesterday afternoon, police received tip that the group would make the transportation of drugs by the Solimões River. Given the information, teams set up a joint action in order to intercept the group.

The money would be used to buy drugs in Tabatinga. Second or delegate, the quartet took the amount in Para bound to the interior of Amazonas. The group had specific function of transport and purchase of drugs and was being investigated for three months.

The quartet was identified as Nelson Ozório Curico, 45, which is Peruvian, and Brazilian Adaldino de Souza dos Santos, 33, HIVAN Sousa Almeida, 24, and Gilberto Santos da Costa. All were charged for trafficking and criminal association.
