Strike bank enters the 4th week and affects services in the Amazon

All Public banks are suspended activities. There is no provision for the closure strike in the country.

The national strike of bank entered the fourth week with closing of bank branches in the Amazon municipalities. Only four private banks are working with customer service in Manaus. All Public banks are suspended activities. There is no provision for termination of the strike movement.

The Union of Employees in Banking Institutions in the Amazon (Seeb-AM) It reported that calls to customers are being carried out in only four agencies: a Bradesco located on Boulevard Alvaro Maia, Cemetery next to St. John the Baptist, and unity of the State Department of the Amazon Farm (Sefaz-AM), the avenue André Araújo. The Itaú agencies in operation are located at Avenida Brazil, Compensates neighborhood, and Avenue Judge John Machado, Set Champs Elysees.

In any state there are 198 public agencies and private banks where 2.500 banking act. Most agencies work in the capital.
