consumer protection agencies trigger federal courts for banks meet during strike

Officials seven banks are on strike for a month and the organs and institutions involved in consumer protection in the Amazon will trigger the federal courts to ensure people's right to have the minimum service provided in case of strike.

The institutions who subscribed to action are: Amazonas State Public Defender (ECD-AM), Public Amazonas State Ministry (MPE-AM), Federal Public Ministry (MPF), PROCON AMAZON, Order of Lawyers of Brazil - Section Amazon (OAB-AM), Ombudsman and Consumer Protection of the Municipality of Manaus (Procon-Manaus), Commission of Consumer Protection of the Legislative Assembly of the State (500-gambling), Consumer Protection Committee of the Municipality of Manus (CDC-CMM). Representatives of these bodies will report on the action during the press conference.
