Tefé families affected by landslides are supported by Amazon Civil Defense

Agents of the State Civil Defense are providing assistance to the families of Tefé, located in the Middle Solimões trough, who were affected by landslides, occurred on Wednesday, 8, in a city neighborhood.

"The Civil Defense of the Amazon is conducting an administrative technical work and operational, in partnership with the municipal executive, responsible for the first response to the disaster, to be the safety of affected guarded ", he said, the Executive Secretary of Civil Defense AM, Colonel Fernando Pires Júnior.

There were at least ten points of landslides in Juruá neighborhood, in the street 15 of June, after approximately 13 hour rainfall, which started last Wednesday, day 7. Five houses had total destruction, with five families, but, this number may increase, once 17 houses are still at risk of imminent collapse.
