It seems that Google wants to put an end to the differences between applications and websites on mobile users by navigation. Coming soon, Chrome for Android will allow you to save web pages as apps on smartphone.

Since 2015, it is possible to create shortcuts to some sites on the Android home screen. What Google wants to do now is to allow users to save these shortcuts in the app drawer – that screen where all your installed applications are saved.

Not every site can be saved this way, however. Google says that only qualified as pages Web Apps Progressive – those able to send notifications and run, at least in part, without Internet – They can be saved on Android drawer.

The news should arrive in the coming weeks to the beta version of Chrome. Only after this period of testing is that the update should be released to all users.
