Registration for sports activities conclude on Friday

From the age of seven, the population can enjoy, without paying fees, activities like swimming, water aerobics, volleyball, futsal, table tennis, among others.

Approximately two thousand people have signed up in the activities offered by Manaus Prefecture in Sport and Leisure Centres (CEL's). Not initiated last day 2, entries will be held until next Friday, 10.

From the age of seven, the population can enjoy, without paying fees, activities like swimming, water aerobics, volleyball, futsal, table tennis, among others. Running from Sunday to Sunday, the sports complexes are suitable places for sports initiation of children, teenagers, young, people with disabilities and the elderly.

Entries can be made in one of the 23 CEL's spread across six districts of the capital of Amazonas, just hand in one of the sports centers documents as: two photos, xerox of the identity card and birth certificate (for kids), proof of address, school voucher (to child) and medical and dermatological examination (for seniors and people with disabilities).

"The department seeks to promote sports activities in Manaus communities. There are countless benefits caused by the activities provided by Semjel, as, improves physical fitness, emaciation, glycemic control among others ", said the coordinator Rita Alves Dias.

To the Municipal Secretary of Youth, Sports and leisure (Semjen), Mario Barros, the aim of the work developed in CEL's is increasingly serve the population of the poorest neighborhoods of Manaus. "Our idea is to popularize the practice of sports through sports initiation activities, to contribute to human development, social and sporting ", said the secretary Mario Barros.
