Therefore, CPI opening proposal automatically moved to the archive, due to the Legislature change.
And Article 165 defines that, by application to the Presidency, the signatures on the propositions can be withdrawn at any time, what happened on the morning of Thursday, when President David Almeida received no applications 405/2017 e nº 406/2017, two deputies, requesting the withdrawal of its application CPI signatures. Thus, the proposed CPI ceased to have nine signatures necessary for its opening, It is automatically canceled.
The justification for the withdrawal of signatures is that all financial transactions already under examination of prosecution (Pam) and the State Department of Finance (Sefaz).
David Almeida stresses that, throughout the processing of the application CPI, acted within the rules of procedure and pointed out that the day 23 November last year the former president of AFEAM, Evandor Geber son was in the Legislative Assembly to provide information, but none of the Members who requested the CPI attended the meeting to question the application of the funding agency resources.
President David Almeida recalled that the Assembly also proceeding through the Application No. 306/2017, Kings of Sheba authored by Mr (PR), requesting the extension of the range of the CPI investigation, reaching four other financial transactions promoted by AFEAM, considered "suspicious", an amount exceeding R $ 50 millions.
