Army commander says PT tried to military coup before the impeachment

In an interview with Veja magazine,Army Commander, general Eduardo Villas Bôas, He said the institution was probed and rejected the possibility of supporting the defense of state decree in the tense days leading up to the impeachment of Rousseff.

Without naming names General stated that the armed forces were "alarmed" at the prospect of being employed to "contain the demonstrations that took place against the government".
