SMTU seizes vehicles of Uber in Manaus airport

The Municipal Superintendence of Urban Transportation (SMTU) seized two cars, modelo de Corsa Classic and HB20 Sedan, providing service to the company Uber on the afternoon of Tuesday (13) the Eduardo Gomes International Airport, District Midwest Manaus. The new inspection of SMTU came a day after protest held by taxi drivers in front of the SMTU, in Flores neighborhood, to charge a stance on the illegal transport. According to them, since the arrival of Uber in Manaus, losses for workers reached 40%.
