Isabel de Mello Távora responds in federal court for crimes against the national financial system.

Main franchisor of CVC in Manaus, Isabel de Mello Távora was arrested at 23h the last Friday (6) Federal Police (PF) the Eduardo Gomes International Airport, when embarking to Miami, US us, according to the delegated PF Jeanie Tufureti. Isabel responds in federal court for crimes against the national financial system.

The PF fulfilled arrest warrant that was open, after the sentence became final on 14 July. According to the delegated, Isabel was not aware of the warrant. "We present it in semi-open on Saturday morning", disse Jeanie Tufureti.

The electoral law, from o dia 30 of September, no one could be stuck up 48 hours after the end of elections, in the first round, except in flagrante delicto, because of condemnatory criminal sentence for a non-bailable offense or disrespect to pass.

"The imprisonment for criminal sentence is an exception to the rule could not hold five days before the election", said the delegate of PF. "We check the validity of the warrant and whether it was due to sentence. We confirm this and did the procedures ", completed.
