Amazonastur wants to establish tax-free shop at Eduardo Gomes Airport.

The State Company of Amazonas Tourism (Amazonastur) plans to deploy a Duty Free shop at the Eduardo Gomes International Airport, In Manaus, according to the president of the agency, Orsine Junior.

The talks have already begun with the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero). In the Amazon Duty Free shops, Products manufactured in the Manaus Free Trade Zone will be sold free of state taxes for passengers of domestic and international flights.

"The State Government will spare no effort to transform the Amazon in natural economic matrix. And this measure also involves the increasing commercialization of products of the Manaus Free Zone, through this Duty Free. That is why, We came in search of the area by the Infraero ", Junior said orsini.

This Wednesday, the superintendent of Infraero in the State, Abib Ferreira Junior, said he was willing to work in partnership with the Amazonastur.
