Mayor Arthur Virgilio Neto declared optional point in Manaus on Friday (13), day following national holiday 12 of October, dedicated to Our Lady of Aparecida, patroness of Brazil. The decree is published in 4223 Official Gazette of the Municipality (JUDGMENT) Last Friday (6).
According to the publication, the aim is to contain spending on goods and services, representing a significant savings for the municipal safe. On this day essential services will be maintained as health and cleanliness, with teams in shifts.
In health, Basic Units (BHU), polyclinics, Dental Specialty Centers, laboratories, Free pharmacies and mental health services work until Wednesday, 11/10, returning office hours on Monday following, day 16. In the days 12 e 13 activities will be maintained essential, as the care of the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu-192) and Maternity Moura Tapajoz, keeping duty 24 hours.
With regard to cleanliness, on holiday teams will be on duty following the routine weekends. Already on the optional point, the activities usually follow with sweeping and weeding services in public spaces, and various, squares and cemeteries.
