TCE denies salary increase request to councilors Maraã

Lawmakers requested, precautionary measure, the suspension of the # 1/2017 Law, signed by the Mayor of Maraã, Marcilon Castro Moraes, which reduced the salaries of councilors Maraã of R $ 7,2 thousand to R $ 5,4 mil e R$ 6,2 thousand and repealed the Law No. 50/2016. The request was signed by the councilors Cioney Ferreira, Humberto Nascimento, Raimundo Santos, Eldicley de Souza, Adanilo de Freitas, Sebastião da Silva, Manoel de Oliveira and Abrahão Xavier.

In its order, the counselor Yara Lins dos Santos denied, to form monocratic, the application for suspension of the law, arguing that the text of the only decreases the allowances of councilors, absence, therefore, the need suspension through injunction, since the Law No. 1/2017 It did not cause injury risk to public coffers, but the reduction of expenses.

Also according to the counselor, the refusal of the injunction does not prevent this decision to be reviewed at a later review, since the representation follows its normal regimental PROCESSING, being reviewed, still, the technical sector of the Court and the Prosecutor.

In its order, the counselor Yara Lins dos Santos determined that copy of the decision were forwarded to councilors and the Mayor of Maraaa, Marcilon Castro Moraes.
