Eletrobras Amazonas Distribution signed the contract with the Amazon Energy Consortium, Guascor formed by companies from Brazil Ltda and Dresser-Rand Brazil Ltda, the winning bidding process, last Friday (17), for the construction of a new thermal power plant (OUT) Gas in the city of Coari, distant 363 kilometers from Manaus. The total contract value is $ 470.779.910,00 for or period 12,5 years.
The goal is the acquisition of electricity and power associated, to supply the market the Distributor, for the construction of gas UTE, to be fully automated, with the installation of four new feeders to meet the load demand of the UTE, with capacity 40,16 MW, benefiting about 83 inhabitants of the municipality.
