Government suspends Amazon expenses travel and per diem for secretaries

Exceptions are for travel expenses for patients bound for Treatment Outside of Domicile (TFD) and displacements of medical servers for urgent and emergency care.

The Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Administration and Management (SEAD), suspended the costs of travel and per diem, for any displacement of Secretaries of State, Presidents of the other bodies and agencies of the direct administration, Indirect and Social Services Autonomous.

The measure was published in the Official State Gazette (DOE) day 17 November in the form of Decree 38.356.

The main reason, according to SEAD, is the finding that the State Government has already spent, in 2017, until the month of October, spent more than, with daily tickets and, in 2016.

In this way, they are suspended, until further determination, trips to conferences, courses, workshops, trainings, speeches, meetings, meetings or any other similar events. Exceptions are for travel expenses for patients bound for Treatment Outside of Domicile (TFD) and displacements of medical servers for urgent and emergency care. Other permissions can be given directly by the holder of the SEAD considering "significant public interest". And for all these cases, the journey can only be made with the authorization issued before it happens.

He also says the decree that failure to follow the rules outlined in constitute "official duties of omission and shall be punished as provided by law form, by responding acts contrary to established principles, severally, the applicant authority, the originator of expenses and the servers that any hierarchical level that gives rise to non-compliance ".
