Government launches program to complete over 7,4 thousand works paralyzed

The government launched today (9) the Forward Program, in order to finalize 7.439 works that are stalled. The planned investment is R $ 130,9 billion, and the completion of construction must take place by the end of 2018.A presentation program brings together several ministers, in ceremony at the Presidential Palace, with the participation of President Michel Temer.

The program provides for the completion of sanitation works, creches, Basic Health Units, recovery runways and duplication of highways, among other initiatives. The Northeast has the highest number of completed works. will be 3.186, with investments of R $ 19 billion. Then, comes the Southeast, with 1.931 works, R $ 52,51 billion.

The Secretary-General of the Presidency, Minister Moreira Franco, He said that will be completed by unfinished works program, some stalled for years, demonstrating the resumption of public investment in the country. "With the Next Program, we will resume public investment. lamentably, to bring the country out of the red and do all these reforms to ensure fiscal balance of the country, they [investments] They had to be contained. We are now resuming ", said Moreira.

The funds will come from three source: R$ 42,1 billion. the Federal Budget; R$ 29,9 billion, Caixa Economica Federal, Service Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS) and the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and R $ 58,9 billion, State energy sector companies, especially Petrobras.
