Four detainees were caught by a prison guard trying to escape the Prison Unit Puraquequara (UP), In Manaus, after breaking one prison wall with an iron bar, in the early hours of Tuesday (28).
The prisoners were intercepted by agents of socialization when they were on the lawn. They were preparing to scale the wall.
Two other inmates also bored a hole in the cell 5, but they were caught with a “Theresa” (makeshift rope made of sheets) and could not escape.
Inmates caught trying to escape are closed regime. They are Adeilson Barbosa Valente, from 35 years; Alexsandro Felipe Oliveira, from 20 years; Flávio Pereira da Silva, from 22 years; and Francisco Lima da Silva Daulison, from 32 years.
