After voting against Lula rapporteur, PT President says it's time to 'radicalise’

The president of the PT, Senator Gleisi Hoffmann, Lula was speaking to supporters in the region near the headquarters of the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF-4) at the time that if the rapporteur, Judge John Peter Gebran, completed its vote in favor of increasing the penalty for the former president 12 years and one month. Gleisi said the vote was expected and now it's time to "radicalize".

“we will radicalize. We will not leave the streets” said Gleisi. By the time the announcement was made, of those present shouted slogans in favor of Lula.

The president of the PT added that Gebran followed the script that the PT already waiting: "No surprises". He added that the rapporteur "spent over 200 pages of your vote to uphold the sentence of (judge Sergio) Moro”.

Despite having spoken as if the trial was already decided, Gleisi said he believes the other two judges, Leandro Paulsen e Victor Laus, follow different path of Gebran for being "more technical".
