Flag tariff electricity bill in February will be green, no extra charge

The National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) confirmed today (26) that the tariff flag February continue green, which means that there will be no extra charge on electricity bills. Maintenance of the green flag had been announced by the CEO of the agency, Romeo Rufino, on Tuesday (23).

according Rufino, the rainfall in the months of December and January allowed the maintenance of the green flag, because of the improvement in the level of the hydroelectric reservoirs.

The yellow and red flags tariff, with additional charge on electricity bill, are activated when thermal gas, higher, They need to be put into operation for producing electricity.
