'Minister of the Manaus Free Zone' demands to leave the government Temer

Marcos Pereira announced the decision through social networks. The Planalto Palace did not comment on the resignation.

The Minister of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services, Marcos Pereira, He delivered today (3) letter of resignation to President Michel Temer, at a meeting at the Presidential Palace. He announced the decision through social networks. In the letter, Pereira explains that lets the folder to devote to personal issues and party. The Planalto Palace did not comment on the resignation.

Marcos Pereira is licensed president of PRB and can compete elective office in the next election.

This is the second low in Temer President of the ministry in less than 10 days. Last week, Ronaldo Nogueira left the command of the Ministry of Labor also to apply in elections. In the last days, President Temer has talked to PTB members in search of a name to take over the Ministry of Labor.

In the three-page letter, Marcos Pereira takes stock of the actions of its management in the ministry, started in May 2016. He notes that "we have made a bankrupt government, torn, with all the negative economic indicators and no prospect of improvement of life "and that the government faced the challenges and the country" has found its course again ".

Pereira concludes the text saying it expects to have honored the Brazilian productive sector and his party, or PRB, and appreciates the confidence of President Temer. He justified the request by saying that "must leave the ministry to be able to dedicate myself to personal and partisan issues".

In his Twitter account, Pereira also thanked the servers and secretaries of the ministry for the work done in the past 21 months.
