The Amazonas Legislative Assembly (hazard) took down, this Wednesday (28), Veto the Government Bill, authored by State Representative Joshua Neto (PSD), declaring the event "Dawn of Guaranteed" as Amazonas State Cultural and Intangible Heritage. The law goes into effect once published in the Official Gazette of the State Parliament.
Mr Joshua Neto congratulated the people of Parintins the achievement and said that now the event may receive support from the State Government. "This is an important party to the red and white population and the Parintins tourism. From now on this party and this space can be supported by government agencies with less bureaucracy to their organization ", said Rep.
Among the benefits that the record can bring to the party is the guarantee of space for them to continue being held, as well as support of government agencies, for example, sound equipment, scavenging, space conservation, possibility of funds allocated by the government or incentive laws for the private sector to invest in the celebrations as a cultural space, inclusion in the city's tourist calendar, among many other benefits.
According to the deputy, the event is one of the largest cultural expressions of the State, bringing together hundreds of people every year in a beautiful party that has its tradition from the days when the Parintins Festival still had a magnitude which currently has.
The veto was overthrown by 16 votes in favor and none opposed. During the vote, Mr Reis Sheba questioned the opinion submitted by the Attorney General of the State to veto the proposal, and he said he saw no compelling reasons for the veto.
The Dawn of the Guaranteed is a traditional event Parintins city that takes hundreds of revelers to the streets of that city. The event is held on 30 and 1st May, Labour Day, in honor of St. Joseph the Worker, with output of Curral Guaranteed to Carmo Cathedral in Parintins. The party goes until dawn, hence the origin of the name.
In recent years the success of Dawn became so great that are already being organized tours for tourists from Parintins to join the party.
