Netflix installs 'corruptômetro' in Brasilia to promote new series

The "corruptômetro" measures the amount of public money diverted every minute of Brazilian coffers.

The streaming service Nefelite placed billboards with counting how much money has been lost to corruption in Brazil.

The initiative is part of the company's advertising for its new series: "The Mechanism". The panels are located at the entrance to the bridge Honestino Guimaraes, giving access to the South Lake district, prime area of ​​Brasilia.

The "corruptômetro" measures the amount of public money diverted every minute of Brazilian coffers. On the morning of 2nd show (12.mar.2018), marked more than R $ 200 millions.

The series is also promoted 1 large poster at the National Assembly, 1 major malls in Brasília.

The series "The Mechanism" is produced by José Padilha, director of "Elite Squad" and producer of "Narcos".

The production is based on the operation Lava jet and has Selton Mello as protagonist. The show debuts on 23 March.
