Coari will receive the first steam turbine thermal power plant of gas

Fully automated and using scanning features, automation and electrification, the future plant will feature the best of technology and benefit some 80 inhabitants of the municipality Amazon.

The turbine was constructed in approximately 210 days, It came out last Friday (13) Jundiaí and will make a path 4.000 kilometers of road and river to arrive at the plant. The UTE will provide ready 23.4 MW to meet the inhabitants of the municipality, generating and providing reliable power quality. In this way, develops the local economy, enabling the creation of jobs and improve the population's quality of life.

Or contract, whose value is R $ 470.779.910,00, It was signed last year between the Amazon Energy Consortium – formed by Guascor of Brazil Ltda. and Dresser-Rand's Brazil Ltda, belonging to the Siemens Group, Eletrobras Amazonas and Distribution. The consortium is an Independent Power Producer (PIE), which won the bidding process conducted by the auction No. 02/2016, sponsored by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), 2th stage (Group A / Lot 1). The plant has a term of execution 12 months. The works have been started in December 2017.
