A boat carrying 1,1 ton of capybara meat and four live alligators was seized by the Navy in northeast Pará. The stocking is outlawed.

The boat, according to the Port Authority, was uneven and still carrying six passengers, including two minors. The seizure occurred between the towns of Chaves and Abaetetuba.

According to the command of the 4th Naval District, the vessel did not have the certificate of registration with the Maritime Administration; He had not enabled driver; had no salvage materials; in addition to the unauthorized charge.

The vessel was delivered to the Port of the Eastern Amazon (CPAOR). The cargo was seized by the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama).

But the driver was taken to the Environmental Police Precinct, in Belem. He must answer for exposing the crew and passengers to danger, according to Article 132 the Penal Code, and exposing the danger vessel, own or others', according to Article 261 the Penal Code.
